Suns-Charlotte idea

So I really hope the Suns can move Banks as I'm sure we all do, so I was screwing around w/ RealGMs trade checker and came up w/ this:

Phoenix sends:
Marcus Banks
pick #29

Charlotte sends:
Walter Herrmann

This works financially if Charlotte picks up Herrmanns team option I believe, though I'm not sure how that rule works. If they pick up his team option do they have to wait X amount of days before they could move him?

The Bobcats do have Brevin Knight at PG, as well as Raymond Felton, so its doubtful they'll really want Banks (especially for a nice piece like Herrmann). Adding a pick would obviously help, maybe it would have to be the #24.

Marcus Banks and James Jones for Herrmann works as well according to RealGM. This basically gets rid of the Suns salary issue w/ Banks, and Herrmann for Jones is a pretty even trade. I'd even consider doing Jones, Banks, #29 for Herrmann, or preferably Jones, Banks and a 2nd rounder for Herrmann if Charlotte would take it.

This would be adding a lot of salary for Charlotte, and only a marginal amount of talent....so I really doubt they'd be interested....but I like Herrmann a lot and hate Banks a lot, so I guess I'm trying to make reality fit my fantasy.

how about we do banks plus the 29th pick for chris paul this gives us a back up pg and its a trade the hornets would do without even thinking twice about imo. then after a few other trades we could have a starting lineup of

Nash, Paul

Bryant

Lebron James

Duncan

Seriously, it's a miracle that you haven't been banned yet. You add absolutely nothing to the board and come up with the dumbest trades I have ever seen. I really hope you are a 12 year old kid or something.

Good ideas? Marcus Banks, a terrible player with negative trade value, and the 29th pick has little value. Chris Paul is the best young point guard in the league who would never be a backup. If you think that there is any chance of this trade happening in the real world you know nothing about basketball. Stop wasting the time of everyone here with your idiotic proposals.

Don't the Bobcats have cap space? Why not trade them Banks and the pick for nothing, then sign Herrmann outright?

Yep, they do have a plenty of space. But what are the rules on trading for 'nothing'? Don't the Suns have to take back some amount of salary?

I'm not sure if it's possible to trade for "nothing", but if the Bobcats are interested, they could send something meaningless like a 2012 Top-50-protected second-rounder to the Suns.

About halfway through the 70-minute workout, Bucks assistant coach Brian James told the players he wanted them to "put the ball on the floor," meaning take a dribble before shooting. Fesenko was first up, and after taking a pass near the baseline, he softly set the ball on the court and walked away looking puzzled as if to say, "Why did you want me to do that?"

For some reason I was thinking when you send a player, you have to recieve one in return, but thats incorrect (as shown by the Delfino for 2 picks deal that just recently happened).
