Small Trade that Might Work
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/feature...29~29&te=&cash=
Suns Trade:
Banks
Piak
Suns #1 Pick or others minus Atl Pick
Memphis Trades:
Swift
Then Sign Damon to vet min.
Suns unload Banks contract and get a big man that can sit on the bench and not play for one year.
Memphis gets a point gaurd that can score and eat up minutes on a bad team, Piak will get some more playing time and Memphis needs Picks since no one will play for them unless they are under contract or are drafted by them.

No thanks to Mike Miller or Brian Cardinal. The problem with Miller he needs the ball in his hands to score. Cardinal for 3 years I would rather keep Banks around for 4, plus Banks can be traded Cardinal would be around until his contract is over.

Who can score without the ball in the hands? Is it soccer you are talking about?

the next pick the suns can trade outside the Atlanta pick is a 2012 1st. suns would be stupid to project that far in the future, especially for Swift

You can trade your own pick, every other year. Where did you get 2012 from?

we owe seattle our 2008 and 2010 first rounders from the KT trade....so the next possible trade of our own pick is 2012

That would be an amazing trade for the Suns, but does LA do it? Sure they get back a fan favorite, and they get a young PG who can warm the seat for Livingston and perhaps would work out better in their slower system. I think if the Suns hadn't moved all of their 1st rounders, if they could throw one of them in, then LAC would do it for sure. It depends on how much of a stink Cassell makes to the LAC front office, the more he complains, the better chance a deal like that has of happening. Also, does Cassell want to come back to Phoenix? Most of the F.O. that was here when he was here is gone, so who knows. He'd be an unbelievable pick up for the Suns.
