Just thinking about possible trades... how about this one:

Miami gives up James Posey (sign and trade), Jason Kapono, and Udonis Haslem

Phoenix gives up Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks

That doesnt make us better and Posey is a dirty player who would not fit in with the suns.

Posey is a better perimeter defender than Marion and can shoot the three. This move gives us alot of depth, much better three point shooting, and a defensive big man who can take the load off of STAT.

Bell/Tucker
Posey/Kapono
Haslem/Diaw
Stoudemire/Thomas

We could easily go ten deep with this lineup.

I just dabble in the dark arts, I don't know if I'm ready to take that step .

Anyways, it makes us better because of improved perimeter defense (Posey), better three point shooting (Kapono + Posey), and an interior defensive presence to help with rebounding (Haslem). Plus it gives us a very deep rotation.

As for Posey being dirty, it doesn't matter that much. Sure winning the right way would be nice, but if that's what it takes to get the championship, then so be it.

Because that would be hypocritical.

You'd probably find me saying that Bowen is a dirty piece of crap (which he is). However, Raja is also a dirty player, and Posey can be too. Given the option, I'd take Bowen on my team any day.
