PHX/NY deal

I know some of you are gonna harass me on this one, but hear me out. Most of you want Barbosa and/or Diaw out. We all know we need some added depth and punch with the second unit, as well as another ball handler. IMO we get more in this deal than we give out, and D'Antoni gets what he wants (or rumored to want) as far as Diaw and Barbosa as well as getting his roster within the league rules. We take on Randolph, but with Shaq, Amare, Hill and Nash to help ground his demeanor, I think it could work to our favor. Besides the PG spot with Nash, our first unit and second unit bring the same tenacity and defense without losing a step.

Here's the deal:

First Unit: Second Unit:
Nash Robinson/Collins
Bell Barnes/DJ
Hill Chandler
Amare Z-Bo
Shaq Lopez

Our first unit doesn't change, and with Shaq having half a season under his belt with these guys, the first unit is more cohesive. Shaq helps defensively for Amare's deficiencies there.

With the second unit, we don't lose anything offensively nor do we lose anything defensively. Lopez helps defensively for Z-Bo's deficiencies there. Chandler is coming into his own and showed in the summer league that he is going to be a force.

2 guards beware of being bombarded by Bell then Barnes as well as SF's with Hill and Chandler.

To get Chandler and Collins, I'll take Z-Bo. Plus you can't argue with his numbers. He may not be a defensive juggernaut, but he would be great behind Amare and Shaq with Lopez. The deal makes us a deeper team. We won't be running nearly as much, so trying to get Z-Bo running isn't a necessity like it would be for him to stay in New York.

Doubt NY would do it and if he did why the hell would randolph peacefully accept a bench position?
