here's the problem - what freaking team WOULD Marion "go to".

this is ridiculous, he shouldn't have this much clout to derail a deal like this and his agent knows it. If he opts out, he ain't ever making up the money he'll lose that last year.

Charlotte could be a team that makes sense as a 3rd team if they are willing to give up #8, a contract and capspace for Marion.

Or what about Golden State?

I dont think his opt out holds much water. He is over paid as it is.

If Marion is a emotional headcase like the whispers have suggested the last few years.... he may not want anything to do with Marion on his team while he's trying to make a name for himself as a head coach.

From reading all of his posts I get the impression that Cheese thinks that if Sean Marion had just not opened his mouth, Kevin Garnett would be a Phoenix Sun, which I really don't agree with.

Oh, I don't agree with that either, but I also don't think cheese thinks that. I think the only thing most of us agree on is that us not getting this year's Atlanta pick has killed the preliminary deal.

I think cheese is just worried that Marion MIGHT be the cause of the deal falling through. That's a possibility, of course, but no more of one than a dozen more different scenarios.

i'm taking logic and a certain source's silence on the subject. and I never said it was gospel truth, just my opinion -- that's what IN MY OPINION means.
