Marion for Jamison is strictly a salary dump. Hoopshype has Jamison listed as having a player option for this year. In theory they could make the trade before the draft, Jamison could opt out and be re-signed for a smaller per year on his contract and then the Suns would save the luxury tax.

I'm not recommending this deal, but to be taken seriously it would be for finanical and not basketball reasons.

Aside from thinking that Jamison would be a terrible fit in Phoenix wether at the 3 or 4 a deal would have to look something like this to even consider imo.

Don't the Wiz already have a 6'7 All Star on the wing? why would they want Marion too...

AND why the HELL would the suns do that trade..

Now if they want to do a jamison/Butler Trade for Marion/KT/24 & 29 picks now your talking...

But that won't happend, and this rumor is just one line at the end of a Rashard Lewis article in the New York post, and yet it is the front page on hoopshype...
