....then lets outscore the hell of them

I could'nt find out how to add this but i throw in the ATL 08 pick as well.
Why the Rockets make this trade:
They are starting to find out that T-Mac just can't stay healthy and is finding out they can win without him. Some have even said T-Mac is disenchanted and "phasing" out according to this article:

Now they can start to focus their offense around Yao AND get a great do everything guy in Sean Marion who moves
Shane Battier to the bench where he belongs. Plus they get a young asset and lead scoring guard in LB who scores close to Tracy, makes 1/6 of what he makes, and most importantly stays healthy. Not only does it potentially give it the team a chance at a playoff run but if Marion opts out in the next two years they have a ton of
cap room, a couple of young assets in Yao and Barbosa and a likely to 12 pick to get REALLY good when Yao and Barbosa are in their primes.
Why the Suns do it:
Well it would revitalize T-Mac (my guess is magically he would play the rest of this year) and allow Mike do to what he wants to do: Drop a 130 on everybody. Also the chemistry hopefully would be improved with Marions sour puss out. Potentially even more importantly get some strong front court depth with Scola who could even start alongside STAT possibly.
I actually think the Suns would be less likely to do this deal because of the length to T-Macs deal and his back - but with our own chemistry issues, it might be worth considering. I really think Scola adds toughness and T-Mac is the ultimate wild card playing along side Amare and Nash.
