Do Suns Make A Move?

In light of what other teams, especially in the W.C., my biggest fear is that the Suns have missed out on their window with the current squad. With that in mind, I've made a list of trades that would help all teams involved and are at least plausible. Whether it's cap flexibility, better trade bait, etc. for the other team, and makes the Suns stronger IMO, for the NASHable years.

Suns and Kings:
Miller/Artest/Garcia for Marion, Banks and Atlanta pick
this deal adds $859k this year for Kings, but frees up $9.2 mil next year if Marion opts out or is traded, and saves them over $12 mil over next 2 after that.
Gives Suns another defender, shooter, rebounder in Artest, even though he can be an unknown mental case. It also gives them another big that can pass, rebound and defend, and a 2/3 type player who can light it up on any given night in Garcia.

Suns and Kings (2nd thought):
Artest/Moore/Salmons for Marion and Atlanta Pick
Again this deal saves the Kings big time or gives them a very tradeable asset in Marion, and rids their team of a cancer in Artest and a regrettable signing in Moore.
Again adds Artest (see above), a center than can rebound and we saw what he can do with a real PG especially in the Playoffs, and gives the Suns the player they wanted this off season in Salmons.

Suns and Sonics:
Collison/Wilcox/Ridnour/Sene (or other low budget guy to make salaries work) for Marion/Tucker and Atlanta Pick
Saves Sonics big money and/or tradeable asset in Marion, a young guard/forward in Tucker to go with Durant and Green, and another draft pick this summer.
Gives the Suns more rebounding. We may lose some defense overall, but we get more rebounds and some outside shooting from Collison. Wilcox would be Amare light with Nash passing him the oops. We also get a more than capable back-up for Nash.

Suns and Grizzlies:
Warrick/Swift/Miller/Brown for Marion and Diaw
Grizz impact: Iavoroni loves Diaw and with Marion as well, could bring back the big time chemistry between the 2 like 2 years ago.
Suns Impact: Yes I said Brown. He's a big that is above average guarding Duncan and other bigs (especially when he is the starting center (gives him more confidence). Miller is a no-brainer what he would bring to the Suns. Warrick is another big that would flourish with Nash.

Suns and Heat:
Blount/Haslem/Williams for Marion/Banks and choice of Tucker or DJ
Gives the Heat another big time player in Marion, gets them out of Blount and Williams deals.
Gives the Suns some rebounding bigs in Haslem and Blount (yes Blount is a good rebounder when next to a star big (ala Minny times with KG) and gives us a rental of a back-up PG for Nash.

Suns and Pacers:
J.O/Tinsley/Granger for Marion/Barbosa/Banks/Atlanta pick
Saves the Pacers money plain and simple. Gets them out of 2 players they dont want anymore. They do give up a young in Granger that is a stud.
Gives the Suns another big that can slide Amare to the 4, that rebounds and defends when healthy. It gives the Suns a long time back-up for Nash and like I said above a stud of a SF/PF in Granger.

Suns and Bulls (ok this one would only work if Chicago is a little desperate and upset with losing out on Gasol)
Deng/Gordon/Smith/Nocioni/Noah/Sefalosha for Amare/Barbosa/Bell/Tucker and Atlanta pick
Gives the Bulls their coveted post player. They have to give up quite a bit, but they get Gordon's replacement in Barbs, and a tough nosed defender in Bell along with that Atlanta pick.
Gives the Suns youth, very much needed depth, with defense and rebounding from all positions on the floor. It also gives the Suns insurance should Marion want to leave.
Starters for Suns:
Nash/Hill/Deng/Marion/Diaw
with Gordon/Nocioni/Smith/Noah/Sefalosha/Skinner off the bench

Suns and Sixers:
Daly/Miller/Iggy for Amare/Banks/Barbs
Sixers get a new face of the franchise along with another stud 6th man. They've been looking to move Miller and they've already said they don't want to pay Iggy.
Gives the Sixers a better on ball defender in Daly, a stud back-up for Nash, and a eventual Marion replacement or S&T stud this summer in Iggy. The Suns could also resign Iggy and either do a S&T with Marion or trade him for assets if he uses his player option.

Suns and Knicks (yes the Knicks I think this might work for the Suns, and we all know Isiah is up for anything):
Randolph/Lee/Richardson for Diaw/Marion
I don't think the Atlanta pick would be needed for Isiah to bite since he doesn't get along with Randolph and Richardson hasn't done anything in New York. He's seen what Diaw and Marion can do with each other on the court (like 2 years ago without Amare)
For the Suns we get a head case in Randolph, but there's no mistaking that he can ball. We also get a rebounding fool in Lee. Richardson would be the real wildcard for the Suns. Can he regain his Suns form again?

Didn't you see the article stating they aren't going to make a major move? Any move they make will be small. Its far more likely that they sign someone who isn't currently playing or gets bought out than that they would make a trade.

Yes, I saw that, but just about every team in playoff contention says that as well. As the Suns sit right now, they are 1-1 (Suns win without Ginobili and Suns lose without Parker) against the Spurs. 1-2 against the Lakers (the game they won, Lakers didnt have Bynum), 0-2 against New Orleans, 1-1 against Utah, etc. With the Lakers getting Gasol, the West is looking harder and harder for the Suns to be real championship contenders with the squad they have. A major deal involving either Amare or Marion is needed for rebounding and defense. I know I'd like to keep the team (core 8 players) intact, but we dont stand a chance in Nash's era of doing so to get out of the West. We have to do something, therefore I came up with deals that could work.

I agree that a deal involving SAC town makes the most sense. They're looking to move Bibby,either/or/and Artest.
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/rumors/p...nba,64989(just one of several articles floating around) Not to mention the talk on the KINGS board.
I also doubt the SUNS would be willing to tinker with their financial success to this point.
We're probably gonna have to go with what we've got.
