Camby staying put?

No link. Just hearing that Denver's balking at what other teams are offering for Camby, they can't maneuver to get out of tax range, so they're most likely intent on keeping him and paying the tax.

Denver was one of those teams I mentioned before worried about the Suns moving into the Top 10, because both are apparently interested in Noah. Denver wanted to move up, too.

No idea what this means for Steve Blake.

I think anthony's contract goes from 4 to something like 12 this year. They were already over the cap, and I really dont see them just accepting that.

Aside from that, I dont know how you can have such a shabby year with a lineup of iverson/anthony/camby/nene/blake

yeah before resigning Blake they are already at 77 million.... but with AI/Camby, they have to be in win now mode whether they like it or not....

Maybe the owner will swallow and pay the 24-26 million in tax penalties, but that seems like an awful lot of tax to pay considering they will be at best the 4th best team in the West.....

Kenyon Martin's the one that's killing them. He should definitely retire, but he can't because there's too much money on the table while he can still walk. He's due something like $60 million for the next four years.

He's said he's intent on coming back next year. We shall see.
