Usually everyone dwells on bad decisions in the past. Nice of Eric to bring up something positive.

Where is the punch line. I'm too ignorant to get it.

#3. Amare will be as good as Karl Malone, barring further severe injuries!

ad #2: .. Gentry felt Nash's teammates were watching him too much and the offense had become stagnant.... "We felt like we were wearing Steve down," Gentry said. "He had the ball all the time, and he was making all the plays. .... One of the things we looked at was having more ball movement and more people movement but making sure he still had the ball at the end of the shot clock and still making plays . . . when he's fresh."

It's a reference to the "hot" Marion/Kirilenko rumor, which turned out to be only a rehash of month-old news.

The fact that Coro was on vacation at the time and that Gambo and Ash brought it on their radio show made it "news".

BTW, the Salt Lake City papers seem to be dismissive of the rumor. http://blogs.sltrib.com/jazz/2007/09/tuesday-report.htm.

Wait, Gambo and Ash blew a rumor way out of proportion? Really? I've never heard of such a thing.

Gambo and Ash did not report it as news. Gambo actually helped dispel the rumors that grew wildly after the morning guys went to town with it. Gambo said it was briefly talked about a month ago and that it was dead. He also stressed that the Suns were not even remotely interested in Marion for AK47 straight up.
