I love it. That is the exact trade I made in the Trade fourm Minus the 4th pick from Mem, & our Atlanta pick. I would love to do that but I dont see Memphis doing that.
I also think it would take the Atlanta pick to get Camby. I would be happy with our team depth if we made the Memphis trade even without picks.
The Camby trade would be amazing but I dont see it happening.
a 100% agree on camby. i asked in another thread where all the rumors have gone, they're probably hidden by kg rumors. i really believe that of all the trades that have come up, i like getting him the best. perfect fit.
the memphis trade also sounds pretty good, but do we have any info confirming that such a trade has been talked about? if so i'd gladly take it, i'm always like miller. swift can also become a great part of our team, though i base that on looking at his body type and stats alone. He seems kind of odom-esque? #4 pick can turn into something great, like maybe a brewer or a horford.

me 2
KT James Jones(2.5mill dump) 08 Atlanta pick for Camby
I'd rather just have Camby. Miller is a nice player, but health has always been a concern, as well as his defensive ability. I'd rather take a chance with Marion, and possibly Grant Hill.

i can see that side as well. with camby/marion/bell on the floor at once, the suns will surely be a defensive force to be wreckoned with. i mean really, dpoy, most versatile defender in the league, 1st team nba defender, and even kt on the floor at once is possible, i can't imagine why the suns wouldnt be all over getting camby here. im all for keeping marion for one more run, and grant hill is quite an interesting prospect as long as he doesnt decide to head to the motor city

You know, I'd also take Warrick/Cardinal in place of Swift, but Swift fills a need and I do think he is one of a few perennially underachieving players in this league who would blow up in our system. If Swift comes here, he averages 11/10/2 if he got consistent pt. Look at the systems he has played in. He has played for Doug Collins and Jeff Can Gundy. Are you kidding me? The dude is an athlete. He needs to free-wheel, period. You open him up and he'll produce....
Why in the world would Denver make that trade? Don't tell me it's just to unload Marcus Camby's contract. They could do much better than that.
Furthermore, while I absolutely love Marcus Camby's game and think it would be perfect for the Phoenix Suns I would never trade for him at this point. If we'd did I would bet my wife that he would be injured for the playoffs. I really would like to steer clear of players with a history of injuries. He's about as bad as they get in that department.

He has played for Doug Collins and Jeff Can Gundy.
And Mike Fratello, and Hubie Brown, and Tony Barrone, and ...
Swift has had his chances. He has failed in every possible type of situation. It's time to pull the plug. You might as well try to resurrect Michael Olowokandi's career.
