Took the raft out today.

7.5 hours on the river, rowing, drinking and fishing.

Saw some Bald eagles and missed catching a big catfish.

Oh, I love Arizona!

Lost my favorite Cards hat and some sunglasses when the **** went crazy. But it was worth it.

Then some rednecks came and made my buddy.... Nevermind.

Didn't know we had Bald Eagles in Arizona...I thought they were an endangered species?

I did see one in Colorado two weeks ago though...that was an awesome sight.

My wife and I went on the Cottonwood Railroad trip 2 years ago. We saw 3 bald eagles - a mother and 2 eaglets along the face of a cliff. It was awesome.

I'll see if I still have the digital photos to post.

They is a fairly large population of bald eagles in Arizona. They is a protected nesting area at Lake Pleasant even.

I've seen them outside Flag and up in the White Mountains also.

In two weeks we are taking that raft on the Verde from Camp Verde to Horseshoe Lake.

It was only $2000. We split it three ways.

I love getting out into the middle of nowhere and fishing. No phones no other people just nature and me.

I have only been rafting once.

We bought this book about rafting the Verde and I now believe this trip will be crazy. We will be living on the river out of a raft for 6 days.

The first sentence in the book says novices should not take this trip alone. Six foot waterfalls and seemingly invisible barb wire fences across the river.

There is only three of us and our most experienced person has been on the raft three times.

You might see me on the News getting rescued from the middle of nowhere, Arizona.

If I suddenly stop posting more than a week after March 27th something bad might have happened.

Death in eminent! (hope you'll be ok!)

Invisble barbed wire? Where can I get some? There's an annoying cat in my neighborhood that parades around in my yard & sends my dog into a dither.

Where can I find some? Or better yet - a cat-apult!

Anyways, beware of any banjo playing hawnyawks. Hope one of your friends isn't Ned Beatty!

There is only one strand across. I guess it is for cows.

Supposedly it is easy to miss but hard to see.

We bought a book that details the whole trip.

Taking the raft out again in t-minus 4 hours.

The Verde is running as rough as it has in 5 years.

I will post some pics. Will be sporting the Cards all the way down!

If I perish. Well, Go Cards.
