Surgery on Tuesday at noon.

I am starting to get a little freaked out. I think I'll back out and head for the hills instead.

Stay strong Tim!!!! I in no way can say I have any clue what you're going through, and I don't know what I would do if I had to make some of the same choices you are having to make. Just know that there are a ton of people here that care about you and are supporting you!!!!!!!!!!!! Lean on your sweet wife and trust that your doctors have your best interest in mind!

Why not?

Do you feel this surgery is going to help you or not?

It's pretty easy to not show up if you don't believe in what they are doing.

If you're not convinced then why do it? Is it fear or do you think they are quacks?

No. I am just freaked out. There isn't any alternative though. They have to cut this stuff out of my lungs. I actually want the surgery. I have to have 2 surgeries one for each side.

There is no way I can not show up. My wife and mom will make damn sure I am there.

Hang in there buddy. It's a tough road, but they have a tough cookie they're going to be working on. Keep it positive and surround yourself with family. They'll be the ones who help you get through this.

BTW, family also consists of all your friends on ASFN.

Right now I would be considered doubtful for that game. Probably will be out until the Home Opener.
