Tim just called.. No one would have been able to call him or see him for the past few days if they tried since he was in ICU was a resporator in his throat... He will be moving into a new room with a number soon.. He said he will be coming home soon he said.. But then he'll have to go check in for chemo.. But all that I'll let him explain when he gets home since I dont really know all the details cuz he had people there and couldnt really talk..
But he should be home within a couple days it sounds like so he'll be able to talk to you guys on here..
I just got home from John C. Lincoln. Actually, I am staying at my parents for a couple days to recover.
I had to check myself in on last Tuesday because I had shortness of breath and chest-pain. Turns out, I had a bunch of fluid around my heart. They also found a reoccurrence of the cancer in my lungs.
They inserted a drain in my heart and put me on a respirator, and then let the fluid drain and took out the drain and took me off the respirator. They were concerned that once I got put on the respirator, I would never come off of it. Somehow I got off that sucker.
I then spent the rest of the week in there recovering, from what amounted to e/r heart surgery. I have to take it easy at home for a week or so and then go back for reevalutation and a plan for the chemo.
I will keep you all updated, lucky to be still be kicking right now, and still got a long fight ahead.
Thanks for everything, thought, prayers, etc. Big Red and 3 Cheerleaders came into the ICU on one day and cheered me up.
Couple more nasty ass scars going across my chest though, I was in a pretty bad spot around Thursday-Friday of last week.
Going to sleep....
Thanks, Tim.
