Damn, this sucks. Today has been a horrible day. First, I find out my sister has breast cancer and now I read this thread. My prayers go out to you Tim. Just remember what Jim Valvano said, "Never give up."

why am i able to walk out my house and do whatever i want while my friend(brother), is holed up in some hospital room? just doesnt make sense to me...

I may not know KofC as well as most of you, but I've generated enough knowledge of him to know he'll kick all of our asses the moment he logs on again and sees this thread.
here's hoping that he caught this round early enough where he will be able to fight it back without as much difficulty
gee - i met you a couple years ago for just a minute, and you seemed like a pretty solid guy - keep your head up - somethings in this world are just out of our control and it sucks to be helpless against it - we can't beat ourselves up though on what we can't change - all we can do is control our own actions - i can't pretend to know your sadness, but I do know that you have to take care of yourself as well and that is nothing to feel guilty about - just be the good friend and good man that you know you are
