I feel fine, probably gonna mow the lawn today, and get on the roof and make sure all is well with the cooler.

As far as treatment, I go in for surgery on my lungs in 3 weeks, that will take up to 2 months to recover from and then they will probably want me to do more chemo to try and prevent reoccurance. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel but the tunnel is still pretty damn long.

I'm sure after the surgery I will be unable to do stuff around here, for awhile.


But right now, I can do it. I am going crazy sitting around here doing nothing all the time.

Its true brother.

I told the Doctor today.

"Look you got a basically young, healthy person here with this thing. You've given me serious chemo for almost six months now and I am fine. Figure out how to get this out of me, I can take anything you got."

I always bring my own T.V. in there so I can play ps2 and watch movies while I'm in there. After 6 days of chemo, I got up and carried the TV out to the truck myself. No wheel chair, no help, I don't need much help right now.

I can take it man, I've always been a freaking glutton for punishment!

One thing chemo does is mess up your eating habits.


When this started I was 215. Now I am 189.

But, I am only 5'11 and 3/4 and that extra 25lbs was in my gut.

If you are 6'0 and medium frame you are supposed to weigh about 190 and I haven't lost weight in 2 months.

The thing I hate is losing my hair and chemo doesn't discriminate on where it comes from.

Losing my eyebrows, eyelashes, facial hair, pubes, and leg hair has been the worst part, man. Butanyone with a good self esteem, can deal with it.


It ends up scaring more people than anything else. I mean, I am usually walking around with Cards gear on.

Whats the difference between, "Hey look at that Cards fan" and "Hey look at that hairless weirdo."
