But, I am only 5'11 and 3/4 and that extra 25lbs was in my gut.

If you are 6'0 and medium frame you are supposed to weigh about 190 and I haven't lost weight in 2 months.

The thing I hate is losing my hair and chemo doesn't discriminate on where it comes from.

Losing my eyebrows, eyelashes, facial hair, pubes, and leg hair has been the worst part, man. Butanyone with a good self esteem, can deal with it.

It ends up scaring more people than anything else. I mean, I am usually walking around with Cards gear on.

Whats the difference between, "Hey look at that Cards fan" and "Hey look at that hairless weirdo."

Right after my chemo treatments food tasted like crap. Everything had a metallic flavor or something. The only thing that tasted good were my wifes chocolate chip cookies. I pretty much lived off those things. I actually ended up putting on 5 pounds before my treatment was over.

I didn't mind losing my hair that much when I went through Chemo. It was kind of wierd being able to shave my face by running my hand across it. Not having to shave for 3 months was nice.

I don't mind it till the eyebrows went.

Eyebrows are important.

Did your hair grow back the same way it was before? Mine came back darker the first time, and now I have a really black mustache, it used to be redish brown.

At first it was really thin and lighter in color. Then after about 2 months it was back to normal.

Just had my semi-anual CT Scan today. Man I hate that liquid crap they make you drink!

Mine is synovial sarcoma. It is a reoccurance of a tumor I had when I was 19. Usually only happens in kids. I had it under my right arm pit. Now its come back to the plural sac around my lungs.

Isn't it weird....I got Hodgkins Dz when I was 32yr old and it usually affects young men (under 30).

I had that bad taste in my mouth also after treatments. I gained weight cuz the only thing that tasted good to me were pancakes with lots of maple syrup - I lived off those for months!

And yes, the hair eventually grew back but it was darker and waivy. Go figure.
