I got mine done this summer. I didn't get any drugs. They just said to take tylenol. The drugs haven't ever really had an effect on me anyway. I can say, I never thought I would be that intimate with a bag of frozen peas in my life.

My Dr. had trouble finding the left vas, so he dug and tugged and pulled for what seemed like an eternity. It made my eyes water.

Earlier someone mentioned it felt like a "family of four was swinging from their goods." When he was searching for the vas, I would agree, but add that the family was all morbidly obese.

I'm going in tomorrow at noon.

I hope to get one last workout in in the morning, but then the doc said no weights until a week or so after. I hope I can at least run--any of you guys shooting blanks have any insights into jogging/sprinting a couple of days after the procedure?

Also, I have to get my tux ready. If I'm going to be impotent, I may as well look impotent.

I just hated to think I blow open the wound and the ties on my tubes.
