Boldin’s Summary
The movie is about a criminal psychologist played by Halle Berry that worked at a sanitarium. Her husband ran the facility and one night from work she got detoured from her normal route home and ends up seeing a girl in the middle of the road. In attempting to not hit the girl, she crashes into a tree. She walks up to the girl and the girl looks up and all of the sudden the girl catches on fire. The next thing she knows she wakes up in the place where she worked but instead of as a doctor, she is a patient. She had no idea that she had killed her husband. She turns her attention to proving that she is not insane, which is ironic because that is what her patients have always tried to tell her. The movie becomes about her learning to listen to her patients and separating what is insane from what is true.
Boldin’s Take
I thought it was a good movie and the plot has a good twist to it. I would say it is more of a suspense flick. Some people say it was scary – I didn’t really think so. The acting was excellent and it will keep you guessing until the very end.
Boldin’s Rating: Touchdown
I thought it was good and since it is my movie review I give it a Touchdown!
