Greg, you're friggin awesome.

Suns31, all the details of the live draft are being hammered out as of yet, but at this point I'm thinking we're either going to do it at a Buffalo Wild Wings or Red Devil Pizza in Tempe. Price is TBD.

Once we get an idea of who's definitely doing the live draft, we'll have a better number to give you. I can tell you, it SHOULDN'T be more than 10 bucks.. But we'll definitely let you know.

Also, Greg and Pat (Devilfan) if you guys have access to MSN, we should set up a chat to discuss business.

I was going to try that, and maybe one of these years, I'll feel adventurous enough to try it, but for the ASFN one I'm going to stick to AL and NL. Make it easy on some of the lesser experienced folks.

If you guys could shoot myself, Espo or Devilfan02 a private message to confirm this, we'd all appreciate it. Lou, you know my MSN addy, so if you want to shoot me a message next time we're both online, that certainly works as well.

Once we reach that even 10, the next step will be to generate where all the live drafters live that way we can get an idea of a middle ground so for those who live in the West Valley won't have to drive 45 minutes out of their way to get to this. Some of you, I've already got an idea where you're from, however if you could just confirm it for me, I'd appreciate it.

Once we reach that 10th person, and have all the confirmed locations in, I'll look for a middle ground, and we can set up a date and time that's good for everyone. All in all, if this runs smoothly and we get things done quickly, the live side of the draft should be set up no later than next week. I'll drop all of you who are doing the live draft a Private Message letting you know the time, date, location and price for the draft. Chances are, locationwise I've got two places in mind, and I'll do a public poll for you guys.

Anyhow, that's enough rambling from me for tonight. Just a heads up on the status of the league.

Draft order goes like this (teams represented by numbers
1st round: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12

It is meant to be that there is no clear cut advantage to having an early pick in the first round because then you wait longer to get your 2nd.

Green hit the nail on the head.

This makes it as fair as possible, that way the person with the first pick in the draft will subsequently get the last pick of Round 2, but the first pick of Round 3..

Auction is by far the most fair draft. Everyone has the same chance at every player.
