That's what I was thinking. I'll PM anyways to get suggestions. Plus, fantasy baseball registration hasn't started most places so they may have it

He's an ASFN member and I could send him a PM to see the cost and the live draft process. I know he setup a free antsports fantasy football league this year for ASFN members

If it'd be free, that'd be great. We'd just have to set up a date and a place to hold it at. I know I did a football draft at Chicago's in Tempe on Broadway.. Pretty good place. I also want to keep in account where everyone's from, and where a good middle ground would be.

LOL, hey.. You know what they say about excuses right?
That's the ONLY sad ass baseball movie that I watch that I have a valid excuse for. Stuff like "The Rookie" and "Rookie of The Year" and others like that I watch because I'm just sad. LOL

To name a few...... We'll definitely have 2 leagues, maybe 3.
I went over to antsports.com and it looks like it's just fantasy football. I'll still PM him and see if he has any suggestions.

I'm all for it - count me in. A nice smaller league would be great. Usually it ends up being too many teams.

Count me in... A live draft would be sweet too.
Any kind of league style would work...

Ok, so far we've got enough TONIGHT for a 10 team league.
I'm thinking that we're definitely going to open a second and possibly third league.
As for the live bit, we could still somehow swing a way to do it live... Let's discuss ways how.

Ok.. Here's the plan..
I'm assuming at this point we'll be doing two 10 team leagues. We will be breaking them down in to the National League and the American League, just to give the baseballish feel to it.
If we get enough for 30, and a 3rd league, we'll figure out from there what's going on. I don't know if we'll get to that point, so the plan is to set the limit to 20, two 10 team leagues, and maybe have anyone else who signs up afterwards be a standby just incase.
Also, I've asked Greg (Espo) to be Co-Commissioner with me in the league, and he has accepted, so you'll be getting periodic updates from both of us. I'd also like to extend an invite to DevilFan02 to take a role, but I'm going to take care of this in an IM and will notify everyone what role he'll be playing in this.
In terms of the live draft, we're definitely making a go of it, so here's the plan. I'm thinking about doing the draft at Red Devil Pizza in Tempe. If this is an inconvience to anyone else, please notify Espo or myself and we all can discuss a possible middle ground for all of us.
In terms of costs, it will cost nothing to be in the league, however I figure, we can get everyone to pitch in a few dollars (we'll figure out a price that's equal for everyone when we get closer to draft day), we can get a few pizzas and some drinks to enjoy at the draft and we can make a day of it.
As for the live aspect of it, I'm trying to figure out ways where we can do our picks live and assure that on Yahoo the picks occur. My dad and I did a live draft this year in Fantasy Football that wound up on Yahoo, so it can be done I just have to speak to him and find out how.
That's the latest update from this front. If anyone has any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Sounds good to me.
I'd say for the date to do the draft we should do a poll of some sort and see when everyone will be free, or if not everyone, the majority of people.

That's a great idea. I'm thinking in either late February or early March. I'm also going to get an idea where everyone's from. I know from the looks of things from League One, most are from the East Valley. I'll definitely put a post of that once we get our 10th person.
