Draft Venue Poll + Info & Request
I just got off the phone w/Jay and he explained to me in exact detail of what has transpired....
First, his internet service has been shut-off since this past Thu due to a mix-up between himself and his Internet Provider.... He may have it restored as soon as tomorrow, but isnt completely certain....
He told me how he found out yesterday that Red Devil Pizza, for some odd reason had the place booked for our draft date for 4/18 (opposed to this upcoming Sunday 3/18).... Unfortunately, it turns-out that they're closed on 3/18, so that obviously eliminated that as a possible alternative.....
Jay suggested the following 2 options and wanted everyone's feedback on each and every one of you's preference.....
First, is Red Owl Pizza located in Tempe at 2155 E UNIVERSITY DR or Buffalo Wild Wings located in Mesa.... I noticed there are 2 separate Mesa locations, but he mentioned the one in close proximity of Alma School.....
We are wondering which is best suited for everyone who intends on partaking in the live draft.....the most convenient.... The draft time is still slated for 5 p.m.
Please vote in the poll ASAP to let us know the venue that is best suited for you and then we'll take everything else from there accordingly....
Plus, Jay has a request... He's wondering if anyone is capable of printing up a hard-copy that consists of all the draft eligible players so we can keep track of those who have been taken as the draft is in progress to avoid any potential conflicts.... Unfortunately, we both respectively need ink for our printers, but any help in that regard would be greatly appreciated....
Thanks again and please remember all your votes count....

Hey everyone.
First, a big thanks to Lou for helping me out over the last couple of days and for putting this thread up for me. I wanted to get the word out as quickly as possible, but with the problems between the Net Provider and myself, I was unable to get to a computer.
For clarification, and just to back up what Lou said, the Buffalo Wild Wings that we'd be potentially holding the draft at, is right off the Alma School Rd exit on 60. It's located around the Mesa Fiesta Mall, Bank of America building and directly across the street from Border's Bookstore, and the Mesa Fiesta Plaza.
Red Owl on the other hand, is located on the corner of University and Price. Both are easy to located areas and if anyone wants further comprehensive directions to the place, I'll be posting the directions on a seperate thread.
Here's a few points to give you an idea in choosing..
Buffalo Wild Wings
-- Good Food Selection. If you don't want pizza or grill, they offer a decent selection.
-- Multiple Big Screen TVs. With the NCAA tournament in full swing, this place would offer us enough TVs to throw a hat at and plenty of them to watch.
-- They also offer a Sports Buzztime Trivia Sunday afternoons/evenings. I doubt anyone would want distractions, but at the same time if we take a break, it gives everyone something to do.
-- Of the two, it's easier to locate, basically right off the 60 Freeway.
On the flipside...
Red Owl
-- They're seemingly going to have more space for us (Sunday at BWW is probably going to be full with people watching the games, but they could possibly work with us.)
-- The food, we could grab about 5 or 6 pizzas and the drinks and get it all on one bill rather than just merely ordering individually.
-- They too will have TVs showing the games, not nearly as many as BWW, but I don't think it'll be as crowded as BWW.
Neither are impossible to find, so there should be little problems getting to either.
In terms of price, after talking with Lou (and I'll be sending Greg and Devilfan a message momentarily), I'm thinking $25 dollars a head should be more than enough to cover for cost of league fees. If anyone has an objection with this, please let me know.

I vote for Red Owl.. Accidentally hit Buffalo Wild Wings.
Only thing about BWW is I have a hunch that it's going to be a lot of yelling over voices to get our point across.

Lets leave it up to SDJ. The two aren't far from each other and Red Owl will be less crowded so it makes more sense.
