I echo your statement exactly, that they cannot even get a field goal anymore.
It is unbelievable.
Today's blame goes to Warner who was atrocious in the redzone to start this game off.
We have to start running the ball more in the redzone.

the red zone O was great last year because we played one of the easiest schedules in the league, especially the last 8 games of the season where the O took off.
is it really surprising that when we play someone good it sucks?

Of all the things that are going up in flames this is what you worry about. Please.
- No defense
- Penalty after penalty
- Team just self destructing like they have in 01, 02, 03 etc etc etc etc
- Individuals with huge talent not being taught anything
Red zone is maybe the one item after the last item I am worried about.

That's crap. Yes he played like crap 50% of the time but Kurt and the offensive were forced to abandon the running game early because the defense decided to not show up. Anytime you rely almost 100% on Kurt Warner bank on fumbles and interceptions.

Your assuming this offensive line can get it done. This offensive line has more holes then swiss cheese. They can't open holes and they can't protect our QB.

uh, if i'm correct one of the first three tds that put us in the hole was warner standing around for 10 mins and then throwing a pick to revis to allow him to walk into the end zone. yeah, warner had nothing to do with the problems of this game . . . uh, zero points in the first half and 7 for the OTHER team.

he played like crap the only time the game mattered (as did the D). The first quarter went D gets a three and out force a punt, we drive down to the 8, Warner takes a horrible sack, running back to the 18 after having all kinds of time, FUMBLES and we end up back at the 35, where Q fumbles. BUT, the D then steps up again and gets a INT, getting us down to the 15, where we get to the 8 again before Warner goes back and holds on to the ball for an eternity before taking what would amount to another sack (intentional grounding), knokcing us back 10 yards before ST decided to lay an egg. Then, the D on their third series gave up a TD. And then, with four million minutes to throw, Warner throws a pick six. From then on, both he and the D were atrocious for the rest of the half.
There's no Warner played well for 50% of the game today. He was awful when the game was a game and then when the Jets played prevent D he put up meaningless numbers and then when the D (who was awful) finally got a stop, giving us some small shred of hope at 48-35, as they brought the pressure for the first time all second half, on Warner's FIRST PLAY facing that pressure, what happened? He fumbled.
everyone sucked out loud today.

There was only 1 interception that was pure Warner. The where he was not under pressure and threw the pick. All the others, the pocket collapsed or he was hurried. Bottom line is that if you don't have a running game and rely on passing (knowing Warners tendencies) that's not on Warner.
This offensive line has been one of the worst in the NFL bar none. For every comment about Warner substitute any QB's name in the NFL behind this line. That by no means absolves Warner. He needs to hang on to the ball.

well, I do agree with this to an extent. I think I said in the game thread that against any team with any kind of pulse of a pass-rush, the Levi Brown/Kurt Warner combo is an absolute recipe for disaster.
People wanted us to come out throwing and I argued repeatedly that the more you put Warner back there, the better chance there are for turnovers. It's just the way it is with him. Negatives are gonna outweigh the positives. Great passer when everything in the world is perfect for him, but that just doesn't happen in the NFL. From his penchant to throw bad picks, his inability to move in the pocket and his horrid ability to protect the football from fumbles he's just not a guy you can go to war with and expect to win more games than you lose.

Assuming you had at least an average offensive line I think Warner does more harm then good the majority of the time. This line though?? Go ahead and put ML in or any other quarterback and we are all still having this conversation. Everybody made the argument last year about Matt being more mobile last year.
Your offense and defense has to start at the line of scrimage. This is something this orginization has NEVER understood.

see, i disagree with this. this franchise has spent money on the oline (gruttadaria, al johnson, ross, brown from the lions, the traitor from the seahawks-name escapes, etc.) and high picks (LJ shelton, levi brown, big, deuce, etc.) . they just don't do a good job of paying or drafting the right guys.

Amen to that.
"the traitor from the seahawks-name escapes" <---
And when I said atrocious, CB was nice enough to elaborate:

That was the game right there.
