Here's my thinking, washington should be tough but we have a chance at home, they haven't looked good lately. houston is houston and philly's O looked horrible our D could make them look really bad at home, not to mention I think that type loss at home on monday night coupled with being out of the playoff hunt will take it's toll on that team, I'd be suprised to see them win a again this season. If indy drops one before we get to town they will be resting their starters which could spell 7-9 for us, not bad considering the injuries we've dealt with.

7-9 would do good things for us in the free agent market. what fa wants to come to a team that blew high expectations with ANOTHER dissapointing season (i.e. 5-11, 6-10). BUT, a young talented team that improved to second in their division at 7-9 in a season plagued by injuries and on it's way into a state of the art stadium in a great weather town would be attractive to top notch fa's.

we can do a lot more to improve this team with a good fa offseason (cough, o-line, cough)than we can by having a draft pick 8 or 9 spots higher. We've already beeen eliminated from the race for leinart or bush and there should be a lot of value mid 1st rd.

"..And in this corner.."

And, most obviously, don't draft OLinemen when you can get them through FA..

I want Boldin/Fitz to be the #1 WR combo for this year, and I want Kurt to finish in the top 5 in QB ratings.......
