Whisenhunt, Warner hope fans don't "sell out"

And now the coach and QB are making sure the nest is protected. Cowqueer fans are digging this article. Just read some of the blog posts, if you have a strong stomach

I'll be there, unless someone wants to pay me 8x face value for my tickets. I hate the Cowboys just as much as the next guy, but this will nearly pay for season tickets next year.
Other than that, I'll be cheering on the Cards and get my usual headache from screaming.

My wife did not want to go to this game as recently as this morning. I told her I was going either way because I wouldn't do that to the cards fans around me. She sent me this article at like 10 am and said she is going for sure. If Kurt and the Whiz can change her tune maybe others will think the better of selling those tickets as well. If any of my co season ticket holders in earshot sell their tickets, there will be hell to pay on Monday Nov 10th.

As one of those out of towners who salivate over any chance to go to a home game (no U of P till next year for me) I gotta say I'm shocked that anyone but a scalper would sell tickets to a team and fans that respect the Cardinals as little as the Cowboys and their following.
I understand intellectually all the financial reasons to sell, but emotionally it just doesn't play.

i understand where Kurt and Wiz are coming from wanting it to be a serious home-field advantage, but this country is in economic chaos right now and there's a lot of people out there who need to scratch and claw their way just to make rent. A multi-milionaire telling people "it stinks" to try and help yourself rather than watch a football game just seems incredibly out of touch with the economic realities of what's going on in our society.

Like I said, it has to be a big investment to make it worth my time. If someone wants to buy my tickets for one game, and that will allow me to nearly pay for next year's tickets right there, I'm doing it. Especially in these economic times.

If people can make a lot of money of this while everyone is freaking out about money, as a multi-milionaire, I wouldn't begin to presume I knew what "tough" was.

They make a lot of money, but they spend a lot too.

emotionally it doesn't play? Tell that to people who have lost thousands of dollars over the last two weeks and are looking at any way to recoup that money because who knows when or if they're ever gonna get that back.
previous years, fine, I understand being a little hard on folks looking to make cash, but with where this country is, especially in light of the last 3 weeks of disaster, people getting what they can, when they can makes the most sense financially and emotionally as far as I'm concerned.

I've been offered 3x face value for my tix (face is $70). That's some decent $$ for sure, but I just can't bear the thought of a Cowgirl fan sitting in my seats... I'll be at the game and will no doubt endure the wrath than always, always comes when Cowgirl fans are in the nest...

a quck perusal of StubHub and Craig's list shows many tix still available --
the ask is bewteen 2x and 3x face value --- some higher. Tix in my section are listed on Stubhub for 3.5x the face value.
Some of these I wonder if people are listing them at their "at this price its worth it to me to not go to the game" price just to see if somebody pays that

I have sold my upstairs tickets for quite a few games over the past three seasons. Sold $25 tickets for the Steelers for $225 IIRC.
The market is flooded for the Cowboys game. Everything is way overpriced given the sheer number of tickets available.
I've never sold my end zone seats and it would take quite a bit (5x face+) to do so.
