After games, especially defeats, I focus MORE on what our coaches & players & the other teams' coaches & players have to say. The media, for the most-part, is alot of fluff. (ie; "Crowning" champions in Nov., etc.) Anyways, I came away with the sense that even after the game the Cards BELIEVED they could've WON. Truth is, they could have. It was pretty much a see-saw affair and I kept saying thru-out, stay within one score and we can win at the end. Almost happened. As we go forward I think the team has the right mind-set. WE will show up! WE will play hard! ...And WE BELIEVE we're going to WIN! Are there things to be cleaned-up?? ABSOLUTELY! BUT we have a "shot". What else can you ask for out of any season?? GO CARDS!

Can we play with anyone? Yes, but, in order for us to win I am convinced that we MUST develope some sort of running game. We can not let teams keep hitting Kurt almost every play. The only way to solve that is to be able to run. A lot easier said than done.

I only got to see the end of the game but Siragusa and Moose both said they were impressed with the Cardinals.

I have to be honest and say i thought we were outclassed

The Giants were clearly the better team, but i am proud of the way the cards played. Nothing to be ashamed about, losing to the champs. Maybe we'll play them again in January.
