When all is said and done. I think the combo of Wells running & Hightower catching out of the backfield/ pass protection, will be a very nice complement to each other.

Right move... no need to change when it is working and put more pressure on the rook. He will continue to get more carries and hopefully will break few long ones.
No need to name him a starter, no. Now, I think there is a need to get him 15 carries a game; it opens up the passing game so much to have a relevant running game. And, as well as we played and as high as I've been from this win, and even though Whis did better with it this week, STOP TAKING HIM OUT AFTER A GOOD RUN!!!

Doesnt matter who he calls the starter on the official depth chart, on a piece of paper. Wells is without already the starter on the field. Since the bye week Wells has 3 more touches then Hightower does. Look no further then the very important Sunday night away game against the Giants. Wells had 17 touches and Hightower had 6. Add into that Wells getting more and more playing time on passing downs and everyone should know who are starter is.
Wiz shouldnt be fooling anyone with his quotes. Wells is the starter.

Totally agree with you on this. If it works don't try to fix it.
I don't think anyone would get bunched about this. We all know who is the best runner on this team, even you know it Shane. The "starting role" is just a formality. Tim's a very nice goalline and pass catching back. Beanie is a whale of a running back who will only get better (scary) with more reps.
We are in good shape with the RBs.

This post sums up the whole thing. Excellent stats Joe. Didn't realize that was the case. Wow, only 6 carries? Do you know if he gets more snaps than Beanie? Cause I bet he gets way more minutes than Beanie does, just alot more passing plays.
Totally agree with this. He will get plenty of chances but anointing him now does no good. Making him work for it by smoothing out all the little things.
