The worst thing about this game is.....

For most of the first half the pass rush was just as anemic as it had always been. It was downright atrocious!

They picked it up in the last 5 minutes but we need to be sooooo much better!

Did I mention special teams? Or that the Chargers second team O marched through our 1st team D like they werent even on the field?

Chargers 4th string QB Cleo Lemon (3rd stringer Joe Germain left the game with a concussion) led the Charger Offense to a 7:40 minute, 13 play 80 yard drive (ended with a FG) against our 1st string defense.

Oh, whoever removed Adrian Wilson's arms from his body, please return them as he cant tackle with only his shoulders.

This is pretty scarry.

Go Cards!!!

Worst things about the game were 2 safeties and a fake fg attempt that was good for a TD. Oh, and the special teams sucked on kick coverages.

I can't understand all the reports about how the dline has been blowing up our oline in camp. They were embarassingly bad tonight, but the first string oline at least looked respectable most of the time (except for short yardage).

We played some vanilla D though. I don't think we even ran a twist. The only thing I saw was that Berry and Dockett flipped sides. Berry was on the weak side and Dockett over the tight end.

trust me i was at camp and our DL was destroying the OL. now that its the real deal someting has happened. the DL looked bad and the OL looked at least respectable.

Of course our D line looks good in camp.....When you play against that O line. When you strap um on against a decent O line...the real D comes out

Most Embarassing Thing

Was the fact that the Chargers scored 36 points WITHOUT LT. We now have to be rated as the worst team in the NFL. On the bright side we now have nowhere to go but up.

- Lack of pass rush
- Can't stop the run
- Can't cover the WR and TE
- A lot of penalty

You could have put these labels on the team for the past few years.

It's obvious our drafting has sucked....but these guys would have been drafted by someone else.

Isn't there anyone on our roster who can stuff the run?

Isn't there anyone on our roster who can cover?

Isn't there anyone on our roster who can rush the passer?

It's beyond belief that the answer seems to be no.

Maybe DG should keep on cutting players.

Throwout the baby and the bathwater and the whole damn tub.

Once again it is pre-season so I am not so sure about that gloomy of an outlook. But we certainly need to get a whole lot better!
