The Lindsey Era

Didn't start off to well.

I just don't know why Green would fire Wylie at this point. Losing an assistant in this way 1/3 into the season is pretty odd. There must have been some conflict there. Maybe Wylie was pissed off that Green brought Lindsey in in the first place. It wasn't like Lindsey had a lot of coaching experience so maybe Wylie might have told Green to FO and that was the reason for the change.

Supposedly they (Green and Wylie) almost came to blows last week. If true, then, there you go. Can't have that.

That's kind of what I figured.

They're going to have to solve something, with Buffalo confirming they were stealing the snap count because Josh tips it, and apparently so does Step, we're going to have to do some work.

BUT, that points out that Wylie had 6 NFL games with them too and apparently he didn't realize it either unless it just started this game because of the OL coaching changes impacting line calls or something.

Remember how we all wanted to never again hear an opponent say they knew our defensive signals or something similar?

How do you tip the snap count? Are they muttering "on three" over and over to themselves as they approach the line?

Seriously, what sort of "tells" might someone have when it comes to the snap count?

NO idea, at the half Wolfley was speculating that they were having communication problems and just going on the same count every snap and Buffalo picked that up. But apparently Josh and Step were doing some sort of communication that the Bills figured out.

Also Cheese or Ouchie said Josh starts to lean before the snap, Wolfley mentioned that too that Josh is tipping the snap and if DL's just watch him, they can get a running start.

Pat Williams didn't elaborate he just said they were able to guess the snap count much of the game.

it's not so much that he leans, josh dips right before the snap. the amazing thing is, i caught this w/o hearing wolfely's comments b/c cheese and i were in a sports bar with no sound. if it was that obvious to me, it was WAY more obvious to the bills defenders.

it might have just been a one-game thing though, b/c i've watched a lot of the games this year and this was the first time i caught it. but it was SO obvious yesterday. maybe josh is just getting sloppy/lazy in his stance behind center. whatever the reason, it was horrid.

Yeah I mentioned that in another thread, I don't think it's happened all year.

I do think the josh/Step thing is related to the OL coaching change, apparently there was something we did because of the weather or noise or whatever that Buffalo figured out, and knew the snap count.
