This is a guy, even at his age, that might be a very intriguing option because of his big play ability...and the chemistry that Warner, in particular, might take full advantage of.

I heard a report that the Cowboys offered him $1.7M this year...if his knee stayed healthy. If it didn't, they were going to give him $500,000.

Speculation is that if he plays somewhere this year, it'll be for the veteren minimum, which is more that the half-mil, but far less than the $1.7M.

Sounds to me like even Glenn doesn't think he can stay healthy. If the Cards move Q and don't get WR in the deal, sure. Let's take a chance on him. But otherwise, no thanks.

If he signed here for the minimum it might not be all that bad.

I'm not convinced Breston is ready to be a #3 and I wouldn't mind giving our rookie a year to learn the league.

He could come in and be as good a #3 or better than Johnson and he wouldn't have to play every snap saving him some wear and tear.

Just a thought.
