If they let him go it will be a bigger mistake than our DBo debacle.
At least we had doubts and reasons (don't start the what reason replies) for not taggin Boston.
I was hoping the Cards would make an offer to him.....instant impact player. JMHO

I don't think that's true, because at least there are comperable players out there, like Indy's Mike Peterson, who they're bringing in to visit. There's no one out there of DB's talent level that we could sign to even kind of fill his shoes.

Spikes

I've seen Spikes play in person.

He's a friggin monster.....agile....mobile....and hostile.....and extremely fast.

If we have so much cap money....why didn't we go after him?

DB may have been the best athlete from the neck down available as a FA this year.....but Spikes is a close second.

I am wondering if Cards are going to spend any money this year. Everyone else is closing deals and we just keep closing doors on their way out. Way to GO GRAVES you rock!

I am beginning to think more and more that it may not be Graves with these FA. they just flat do not want to come here. He f------ up with Boston but the FA problem is something else. I still contend until we have a real QB on board no FA will even think about signing here if he has another choice.

Chill guys. Remember, quick and easy is the way to the dark side Graves has a plan, he asked us to be patient, let him be. A lot of people have been bitching for years that we shouldn't sign 1 or 2 big name free agents, but should do what the raiders did last year and get 7-10 mid-level free-agents who can build the team. If we lose out on quality guys like Colvin, Holliday, and Stewart, yeah I'll be upset, but by no means is it "Woe is us, we're gonna suck." Give it time, we'll see.
