Special Teams coach

If it isnt his fault that our special teams is this bad then cut him to save salary. The guy is doing nothing to help the team.

He did not commit three costly penalites... cut the guy who did that and handed the game to Giants on a silver platter.

Those kick returns didnt get to our 30 and 40 because of penalties alone.

No question, but we stuffed them on their 20 and then the re-kick destroyed us with a hugh return... this usually happens to a lot of team and hence the penalties are such a difference maker.

three weeks ago we gave up a kickoff return for a TD.

two weeks ago, we gave up a 70 yard return.

this week we gave up two 70 yard returns... and missed an extra point.

the buck needs to stop somewhere and these special teams defensively for the most part (save JJ and Rackers) just suck ass.

Absolutely. This did not start today. Rackers was kicking short in a couple of games to prevent big returns. I don't see all teams but our kickoff coverage is as bad as I have ever seen.

Notice how the special teams has gone to poop since Ali Highsmith's injury? Who would have thought that an UDFA rookie would have such an impact on kickoff coverage?

It doesn't seem possible but you are right. He was awfully damn good.

Wasn't Harrington good in preseason? Activate him or do something to change things up. Put some starters out there if necessary.

As good as Rackers is at on-sides kicks and as bad as our kick coverage is its no wonder Whis calls for the onside when he does. Its almost to the point where they'd be better off doing it every time.

Lets just remember that it was also the Special Teams that pretty much won the Dallas game. Take the good with the bad.

Our ST's don't stuff anyone, unless Rackers gets down quick enough to lay the lumber. When was the last time we nailed anyone on a kickoff or punt return?? Even when we stop a guy before he gets to the 25, it's a pu$$y hit.

It's a shame they can't cover kicks worth a hill of beans because they can return the hell out of them.

This special teams problem could be solved if we just sign Chuck Norris!
