The Arizona Cardinals announced P Scott Player has signed a contract extension with the club through the 2007 season. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Good move. Denny has stated that he feels he has a very solid kicking game with both Players and Rackers. He said that they are part of his core team for the future along with the long snapper (forgot his name).

That wasn't my theory, someone asked the other day why Player would be on a list of potential cuts, my answer was because Green tried to replace him this year presumably because he was the player rep and Green suspected him of going to the union. Pretty sure Jurecki was the one who said that, I read that here.
I don't start ALL the rumors about Green.
