It would be interesting to see passing attempts added to this as a weighted number. No one passed as much as we did.

Unfortunately these stats don't include how many pass plays per game each lineman had. That would paint a better picture.

We've had a pretty good pass blocking line for a while now, it's just the run blocking that underwhelmed.

I would take these numbers with a grain of salt considering the four playoff games where line was prety good

Jason Peters made the Pro Bowl by allowing 11.5 sacks in 13 games?

What is worse is he wasn't voted in, he was a injury replacement. So you can't blame popularity voting for him making it.

The bottom line is how we finished the year, the stats don't tell the whole story as others have pointed out. It's how we play as a unit that counts and overall, our starting unit is good enough to make it to the Super Bowl. We should even be better next season.

So who gave up the other 9.5 sacks the NFL Stats records the Cardinals as having allowed during the regular season?

Also I didn't know that Levi Brown played LT for the Bengals...

Not a good barometer of much of anything for a host of reasons I won't list. One of our associates brought up passing attempts..that in itself is enough particularly when you show the few rushing attempts.

I believe our OL ranked #6 in the league in sacks per attempt

The stat I like most for all the lineman: 16 starts.

TE's and RB's.

Also I already did it in a past thread I cant find, I already put sacks per attempts and Levi was still at or near the bottom. The whole picture was already painted. I also noted in Levi's favor that our OT's also play on an island more often then most OL's minus Pitts OL. It is a natural alignment and it is what comes with the deal, considering our TE position and the way Wiz and haley like to spread out the field.

Add in his penalties and Levi is still without a doubt a huge work in progress and still a weak link on our OL. But as the year wore on he showed more and more flashes, so hopefully that progress continues.
