Right where we want to be

You gotta win ugly in the NFL sometimes. The Cardinals did just that against the Rams. Whiz rested any player he could, and walked the fine line between being competitive, and doing the bare minimum to win.

It also helps when the the Rams just give you the football game on a silver platter......but a win is a win.

They say there are no pictures that go along with the standings, and while the Cardinals certainly have had better games, the Cardinals won.

This sets the Cardinals up for a HUGE challenge this upcoming week. At 7-3 the Cardinals get to right a wrong from earlier in this season. This week the Cardinals get to see if they learned from their experience with the Carolina Panthers.

The Titans are a very similar team to the Panthers. A really good team with a really bad record. A 7-3, after a "gimme" type game against the Rams, the Cardinals must come to impose thier will, and give a reminder to the rest of the NFL that the NFC Champs are still the Champs until they are beaten.

This upcoming week is not a must win game, but it is an oppourtunity for the Cardinals to right a wrong, and take a step forward. That being said the biggest challenge will be to get this Cardinal squad motivate for the upcoming game since we now have a 3 game lead in the NFC West.

3 game lead with 6 games to go.....looking good

This is a must win against the titans - otherwise that 3 game lead might be too thin. If the 49ers win this weekend at home against Jacksonville and we lose, our upcoming head to head game will be of huge importance.

Which is why I'm a bit nervous. We're going into Nashville against a strangely resurgent Titans team. Then it's back home against Minny, then on the road to SF.

If the stars arrange a particular way, it's very possible that we'll be going into SF 1 game up on the 9ers, playing for essentially what will be the NFC West.
