Playoff Game Times
Is that determined once all the seeding is set or does anyone know when we will play our first round game at home depending on if we get the #3 or #4 seed?

I think the 4-5 seeds play on Saturday and the 3-6 seeds play on Sunday. As far as who gets the "primetime" billing I think that is determined by which matchup would get higher ratings.

Last year it was the afternoon game on Saturday. The Saturday night game was Indy vs. San Diego.

I worried about this last year because I had a wedding on Saturday to go to and hoped for a Sunday game. Based on the seeding schedule on NFL.com, we should have had a Sunday game. The week of the game, they changed it to the Saturday game.
I think the networks schedule the games based on where they are played. They try to put west coast games on the afternoon (evening) feed and play the East Coast games earlier. Then it will depend on which network has the later games on each day. Last year, FOX had the late game on Saturday and the CBShad it on Sunday. Since FOX had the NFC playoffs, and we were a West Coast game, we played the Satudray late game.
Hope that helps.

The Playoffs are always my favorite time of the year. The teams are usually matched up pretty good and the top teams don't always dominate as we learned last year.

Last year, I went to nfl.com to see what was scheduled based on seeding and I knew (yes KNEW) that the Atlanta game would be on Sunday. The truth is that there is one each for AFC and NFC each day, and the NFL simply sits down and decides which is which, generally on the Sunday before the game. Don't count on knowing anything before January 3rd.

Last year the Cards got the Saturday game because the Fiesta Bowl was on Monday. So, yes, they just sit down and decide after the games are over on Sun.
