Peter King Picks the 9'ers?

San Francisco at Arizona
Josh McCown, playing with the coffee-shakes because his psyche's been yo-yoed by Dennis Green, throws three picks. Green announces after the game, "I'm starting Neil Lomax next week."
San Francisco 20, Arizona 17

Poor attempt at humor. Ban Peter King from this board.

We have played some bad football at times this year, but I can't believe we will lose at home to a Niners team missing Rattay and Barlow.

McCown's psyche was yo-yoed by the New England Patriots pass rush not Dennis Green.

I can just see it now...

McCown-"Coach, I need to sit on the bench...I think I hurt my psyche on that last play."

Green-"Your psyche?"

McCown-"Yeah, when I took that stupid sack and fumbled the ball, and the fans started booing like that...it really hurt."

Green-"Oh, go and get some green tea!"

If the Cards cannot win a game at home against the worst team in the league, they do not deserve to be in playoff contention.

They need to not only win, but win big.

The Cardinals don't deserve to be in playoff contention this year period... But the fact is that they are! But your correct... if the Cardinals lose Sunday they might as well not show up for the remainder of the season!

I will even say that should they lose Sunday that it would mean it is the Same ol' Cardinals. It would amount to the worst nightmare of nearly everyone on this board. A Cardinals loss to SF on Sunday can't happen...

it just CAN'T!!!

the 49ers must be the worst team in the NFL. in addition they have some serious injuries this week at QB and RB. we are playing at home and are a 6 point favorite. i think it is the first time this year we have been a favorite. if we cannot beat this team then i think we are the worst team in the NFL. we will really have to screw up bad to lose to this team. if we lose to the 9ers I see us drafting in the top 3.

Forget playoff contention. If they can't beat the 49ers Sunday they don't belong in the NFL.

On Sirius NFL Radio John Riggins picked the Cardinals, of course, and Adam Schein said the 49ers will beat the Cardinals. That is his upset special this week.
