OT Wembley game on sunday

I will have my Quan authentic top on but i'm not sure who to 'support' on the day?

I was thinking Chargers in case we need the Saints in a hole if we end up looking at wildcard spots, thoughts??

looking forward to seeing some live action (with one ear or wap on Carolina of course)

English, do they "tailgate" out there?? I can imagine if they do, what fans do for soccer matches beforehand.

no not really, the rule for football (soccer) is just fill all the pubs around the ground. decent banter for 3 hours or so before kick is the norm. nothing like the tailgates i had over in AZ when i came across but a tradition all the same

for this game there is a 20,000 people free tailgate .......with no cars allowed. It looks like a NFL experience type deal as far as can tell. There are bars, stores and games, madden, Saints madri gras floats liev music etc... I have tickets for it and it starts 6 hours before kick off so should be a laugh although my train egts in from up north just after the tailgate starts so i will have to start drinking on the train

I would say the Cards fan standard rooting order protocol for other games would be:

1. Root against other NFC West teams when playing outside the division
2. Root against NFC teams in interconference games
3. Root for the team with the worse record in games within the conference or in games within the NFC West division
4. Root for NFC West teams when their season is already over and they can be a spoiler playing a team competing for a playoff spot. (i.e., it should be safe to root for Seattle to beat Dallas on Thanksgiving)
5. Root against the Cowboys!

Therefore, GO CHARGERS!
