OT: Steve Young lashes out against ESPN hype machine.
Post-game MNF. Young made things sorta uncomfortable for Stuart Scott on MNF's postgame show by refusing to participate in the "hype-up" of the Colts/Pats game 2 weeks from now.
Emmitt was a little more game by straight up disagreeing with Young. Both men had some pretty good points, but Young really ran around with the notion of "inflating the balloon" for the network.
It was refreshing to see and after watching the utter dreck that was the game-commentary (Russel Crowe? Really do I give a expletive?) and the usual crap that follows.
Anyone else catch this?

I cant stomach any network coverage of the NFL at this point.

Oh ya mean the only one that's honest and knows the Pats haven't played ayone better than a pop warner team yet no one says anything about that when referring to the god like Brady and the over hyped Pats? No..missed that lol

Exactly! Thats why I dont see them being overhyped at all. I dont see it coming to an end anytime soon either. While Indy looked VERY GOOD tonight. They didnt look PATS SCARY good. |

The pats are very good. But it is still too early to crown their ass.
But the only team that has a legit shot of beating them is Indy. The only team.
