One thing I saw on Sunday that was refreshing...(UK..)
I saw the Defense flying around, making plays, and wanting to kill someone......when we were up by 24 points with 2 minutes left to play in the game. That was amazing to see. They had dominated all day long, and they weren't content with that, they still wanted more. I haven't seen a Cardinal defense like this since I became a fan in '97. It's so refreshing to see. Personally, I enjoy watching an emotional, hard hitting, fired up defense that just brings it hard on every down more that an offense that puts up 30+ points a game. It's just more fun to watch and as a fan, it gets me way more jacked up than a 45 yard completion. It would be great to have a dominating offense AND defense, but I am quite happy having a great defense with a decent offense. In todays game (with the salary cap) it's almost impossible to have both, and the quickest way to being a contender is through a defense anyway. This defense is only begining to tap into their potential. It's going to get harder for them as the season progresses and offenses begin to gel. But I like what I've seen so far. And i've been waaaaaay more excited about sundays now that we have a defnese that can make things happen. Thank you UK!!!! Keep up the good work and I promise, you guys will be rewared.
