One of my favorite things about how this season is going

From Mike Sando Chat today:

Chris (Brooklyn): I do want to point out-- I'm loving that the win over the niners put the Cardinals back into the "same old cardinals" category. I think the success of this team increases when reminded of the past and breaking a mold. I'm very anxious to see the Giants Cards game in 2 weeks. I think the Giants will win, but the Cards will make it a very good game and surprise some people.

Mike Sando: (12:29 PM ET ) The victory makes it easier for Whisenhunt and the staff to be harder on the players in trying to correct mistakes. I also think it's good for the Cardinals when people doubt them. This team has to keep working and keep proving itself.

I love the fact that the Cardinals are not going to be able to rest on their laurels and the coaches can bring the hammer down during the week with tons of reasoning. This team is un-motivated at the worst times and its apparent with a complete lack of disregard for mental focus with the millions of penalties. I don't think they were unmotivated Monday night as well as maybe took SF somewhat lightly and the 9ers came out with a gameplan and executed it well.

I'm hoping the underdog status leads to our two best performances of the season the next two games and I think it might. Which at point we will start to be considered favorites.

And that will last just a week after we read all our clippings and get smacked down by Philly

We could beat Seattle and NY by 60 points each an I guarantee you that the team will not be overconfident against Philly. A quality team in their home stadium? Nuh-uh.
