Official Send Mac Packing Tonight thread

I've had it......

3 games to go, and this is the worst Cardinals team I have ever witnessed in the 28 years I've been watching them. There is no excuse for what is going on right now....

Put in the water boy as interem Head Coach and send everyone of those sorry excuses for a coach packing....

I'm sorry to see it happen to a great guy, but there is little question the players have flat-out quit on Mac.

I would have liked to see what he could have done with some real talent, but there is no defending what happened Today. It is over!

P.S. - I would put a stop payment on every single one of the players' game checks... They are Flat-out stealing from the Bidwills. I wish I had a job where every couple weeks I got a paid vacation, and didn't have to do my job. Must be nice!

I see no need to keep Mac around at this point.

They haven't canned him before in the same kind of blowouts, they aren't going to can him now.

They'll wait until the day after week 17.

down by 43 with a quarter to play is really sad. If they don't fire him then he should have the decency to quit

That's a good point. Mac can't possibly think that he can turn this thing around at this point. He must realize that he's on borrowed time and will be gone at the end of the season.

The ONLY honor left for him is to resign.

The guy isn't stupid, if he gets fired, he gets his paycheck next year if he doesn't find another job.

For as good of a guy Mac is supposed to be, I don't think he will resign.

I think Coach Mac should be sent packing tonight. There's no need to make him suffer through the rest of the season. He's a decent man that all of us wanted to succeed. Let him go and let the players know that they are going to be watched these last 3 games. Those who don't compete will be looking for jobs next year as well.

Terry Bradshaw said during the game that Mac's job was safe? Did I hear that wrong? In my defense I playing Madden on my laptop and not paying attention to the game . . . :\

Not only would he forfeit his contract $$$ but also, it could be a taint on his resume if he quits (read resign). There is NOTHING to be gained by firing the guy at this point. Play out the string and call it a year.

I thought he said Mac should be "locked in a safe."

I like how the announcers were saying the Cards hadn't quit on Mac and they were down 43.That's even worse if they haven't quit and are still getting pummeled.

Firing McGinnis tonight is NOT the answer. If they fire him now, they'll probably promote Sullivan or Chryst to Interim HC. We'll only lose by 2 td's instead of 7 & Bidwill will keep them on as permanent HC. That's the LAST thing we need. Let McGinnis suffer through this last month & then FIRE every remnant of this staff. If anyone on the coaching staff has a friend or family member working for the organization, the FIRE them too!!!!!!!

pacardsfan...the only reason to put someone like chryst in charge is because the front office will flat out tell him...play the young guys - and he will do it. Jeep is not that horrible..the chargers promoted him from a qb coach with the cardinals to offensive coordinator of the chargers - due to the fact that everyone thought he turned plummer into a decent NFL qb...he did suck as the chargers OC - but at least he has been a coordinator before...

Mac has too much loyalty to certain guys to pull them...

or so I think!

It really sucks to be Mac right now. I mean, watching him on the sideline, you just know his guts are in a knot. He's suffering. I bet part of him wishes that he would be fired so that he didn't have to keep going through the motions.
