Last night I was watching Sports Center and all the analysis leading up to the game between the Giants and Cleveland.
Basically the analysts gave Cleveland Zero to No chance to win this game. They talked about how the Giants were clearly the class of the the NFL and the Manning was no longer throwing interceptions. They would only get better over the next three years. One could get the impression a high school team was playing the Giants. The Cleveland QB, I think they said, was the worst in the NFL according to statistics.
At one point in the game Cleveland had just scored. A two pointer would have given them a 3 TD lead. The announcer said that they should never go for a two pointer with that much time left (8-9 minutes). A few seconds later Cleveland scored the two points.
I hope these guys go back and listen to their pre-game analysis. This had to be the worst forecast for a game I have ever heard. Manning looked less than ordinary with 3 interceptions. Cleveland dominated the Giants. This just goes to show "that on any given Sunday"!

It seems like just days ago the pundits and experts were talking about the dominance of the NFC Least, yadda, yadda, yadda. I almost bought into their hype. But now our Cardinals beat the Cowboys, the Rams upset Washington and the Brownies spanked the Giants. Loved how the dawg pound serenaded the G-men with "over-rated, over-rated."
So much for the east coast media and their blowtorch, ESPN.

This has been such a whacky season. Rams beat the Skins at Fed Ex, Falcons are on a tear, Minnesota and Dallas were supposed to run the table against the NFC.....NOT!! Titans are undefeated. And ohh yea! Whatever happened to that team last season? You know, the one that went undefeated until the Superbowl then lost?? I forgot their name already......
