My two cents...
Luckily the drama is almost over. I never thought we had a shot at Manning but when he visited I started to entertain the idea. That said, if he signs...great. If he doesn't, it will be interesting to see how Kolb responds to a full off-season. Skelton could surprise and take the starting roll from Kolb.
Best case scenario: Manning, Skelton, Bartel
Not bad: Kolb/Skelton, bartel
I really like the way the FO has handled business over the last few years. I like the re-signings that have taken place. We try to add upgrades every year and we have a good youth movement throughout the team.
Re-signings: Wilson, Fitz, Dockett, Sendlein, Campbell and Brown.
Additions: Colledge, Kolb, King, Heap, Haggans, Lennon, Rhodes, Snyder...there will be more contributors to follow.
Youth: A. Roberts, Skelton, Beanie/Williams/LSH, Housler, Campbell, D. Williams, Acho, schofield, Washington, Peterson, Toler, Jefferson.
The Cardinals have had an interesting draft strategy. I think they definitely lean toward BPA.
This years draft:
1. Luke Kuechly, ILB, Boston College or Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame
3. Bobby Massie, OT, Ole Miss
4. Jeff Allen, OT, Illinois
5. Emmanuel Acho, LB, Texas
6. Kelcie McCray, SS, Arkansas State or David Molk, C, Michigan
7. Kenny Tate, OLB, Maryland or Winston Guy, SS, Kentucky
Trying to stop pacing in anticipation of the Manning saga coming to an end. Take care and goodnight.

Good post and I agree with much of what was written. Definitely not sold on drafting another ILB this year. Just like you said about having Kolb a full offseason is the same thought I have on Stewart Bradley an entire offseason.
To add: I also hope that, if Peyton decides to play elsewhere, we make a strong play for Kamerion Wimbley. Think he would really excel being the 4th-5th best player on a defense.
My 2 cents plus + your 2 cents make a lot of "cents"

Bradley intrigues me...but I think he'll be a cap casualty. If Manning signs, I hope we go Floyd. If not, Kuechly could be a great counterpart for D Wash.
Wimbly would be great with our two young "potentials".

Floyd and Massie are my two picks in round 1 and 3.
I would like to see:
4 - Jared Crick (seems to be dropping, back up for CC and Dockett, Holiday getting old)
5 - Omar Bolden (Loss of Marshall, Toler coming off ACL and unrestricted next year)
6 - Nate Potter (Has the footwork to be a LT, needs a year or two to build the strength)
7 - I'm okay with your SS pick Winston Guy.
Oh and throw in Wimbley.

I can't get behind drafting Kuechly at #13. I think it would be a waste pick as I don't believe he is a good fit for the SILB position in the 3-4. Of course I also hated the DRC pick, Wells pick, and Dan Williams pick so go figure.
In my opinion 1st round picks need to...
1-Fit the scheme
2-Play on 3rd downs
3-Either directly help/hurt the team/opposing QB
4-Have multiple years of success in college
Personally, if a player doesn't meet these requirements, I wouldn't touch him in the 1st round.
Top 13
1-Andrew Luck
2-Robert Griffin III
3-Matt Kalil
4-David DeCastro
5-Trent Richardson
6-Morris Claiborne
7-Melvin Ingram
8-Fletcher Cox
9-Mark Barron
10-Justin Blackmon
11-Kendall Wright
12-Michael Floyd
13-Stephon Gilmore

What if Trent Richardson is there when we pick? He would surely be the BPA and he really is a difference maker his first year. Beenie cannot do it all himself. I do doubt he will be there but I can dream.
