More Boldin Trade Rumors

I talked to Josh Scobee of the Cards today and he said.....
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
that A. Boldin is selling his house because he expects to be traded before the draft. I asked him where and he said he thought Minnesota for Bennent. I don't know how in the know Scobee is but he seemed pretty sure Boldin was gone. He even cracked Bennent might steal his carries jokingly. Real nice guy.

I picked this off the Viking board (Purple Thoughts)it was put on that by someone named AZ Vike (no its not me!). The profile on the person says he is a recreation director at Lake Havasu. Doesn't appear to be a board basher. But take it for what it is worth perhaps nothing.

It would not be straight up. No way would the Cards do that. Perhaps we could also get there #18 pick in the first round. Otherwise forget it.

The Cards Caravan was in Lake Havasu today and Scobey was there. I know they have a little camp type deal for the kids, so it'd make sense that a recreation director might have talked to Scobey.

The trade doesn't make sense. And, the supposed house for sale makes even less sense. But, if the offer is Bennett and a couple of picks with one being in round 2, this is not that off the wall all of the sudden.

#18 and Bennett for Boldin? I'd have to consider that deal.

Bennett for Boldin straight up? Absolutely not.

I wouldn't give up Boldin for a first a second and Bennett. It seems to me Green likes to clean house and be responsible for picking every player.. Just say no! Boldin when he's on his game is one of the most exciting players I've ever seen... and so far has shown more value than Greens lovechild Fitz..

Why did Green extend Wilson and why is he trying to resign two of Mac's old favorites, Hill and KVB? What about the 2 Davis', Darling and Wells? Does Green secretly hate them too?

So it makes sense that this person did talk to Scobey. All Scobey said is that Boldin is selling his house as he thinks he will be traded. Furthermore he felt to Minnesota for Bennett. Its interesting. If a trade is in the works Boldin would not know the details at this point at all. Denny is not stupid and will not give away anyoung all pro player for Bennet who is only worth a third round at the most.

By the way to some please don't shoot the messanger. I just saw this on the Viking board and wanted to share it with you. By no means am I saying that there is anything to this.

Minnesota wants a WR to replace Moss so Quan makes sense but it's also widely assumed they're taking a WR with the pick they got from the Raiders.

Unless they decided there was another player on defense or something they wanted more and that by getting Quan they can guarantee they get a WR AND that player?

I'd still like to see us get Quan signed sealed and delivered, if we make that trade I may be hoping for Mark Clayton with that 18th pick.

The idea that the Cards, or any team, would give a player the heads up on a trade so he could get his house on the market ASAP is ludicrous. I'd say Scobey is guessing.
