One of the best things about this victory was the "team" aspect. Eric Green lets down and doesn't make the tackle, but Antrel Rolle picks him up by getting a pick six.
Larry Fitzgerald and Steve Breaston combine for four drops, but Anquan Boldin and Tim Hightower more than compensate.
The offense has first and goal from the Rams 2 early on and fails to punch it in, but the defense picks them up by playing one of their best games from start to finish of the entire season. They completely stuffed the Rams rushing attack, excepting Marc Bulger's scrambles.
The kickoff coverage was the best of the season.
The Rams defense was very good early on, but the Cardinals defense more than matched them.
Truly this was
a team win in every sense of the word.
Now let's enjoy it for a day or two before we get ready for the Mike Singletary 49ers.
P.S. Time to start hoping that teams like Carolina, Tampa Bay, NY Giants, and Washington start losing some games so the Cardinals can get some playoff
home games.
