I.D. badges are long overdue. Security in this office park is a joke. Last year, I came to work with my spud gun in a duffel bag. I sat at my desk all day, with a rifle that shoots potatoes at 60 pounds per square inch. Can you imagine if I was deranged? - Dwight K. Schrute

That's great story and it shows that pro athletes are good guys and appreciative. Reading this, i couldn't help but to think back to what a total ass Robert Smith was to a friend of mine. We were sitting right behind Smith at a Blue Jackets hockey game and my friend is a huge Vikings fan. He told RS that he was one of his biggest fans. RS response was, "you don't look that big to me". This was the year Smith retired so my buddy asked, "what are you doing with you free time now that you're retired?" Smith's response, "answering stupid questions from people like you all the time." What a dick. I felt like pouring my beer on him but figured he wasn't worth the 7 bucks it would have cost to get a new one. That's one thing about the Cards. They seem to draft high character, good guys. You don't see too many of them in trouble or that come off to the public as arrogant SOB's.

Sounds about right.
Robert Smith is a pretentious A-Hole.

I met him once at the draft party downtown at Jackson's. He was quiet and kinda putoff by the entire event. Kinda like he didn't want to be there. I chalked it up to an early Saturday morning, after a good Friday night!
Nice to hear good stories about him. He brings it on the field every game. He and Q are my all time favorite Cards. I want them to hang their numbers in my ring of honor section 425 at the UOP.
Cool story HR. I used to work at that same Cracker Barrel. With the training facility just a couple miles away, we used to get all the players come in.
I also worked at Fiddlesticks and used to play Mortal Kombat with Kwamie Lassiter, Corey Chavous, and Jake Plummer all the time.
Back when Nate Newton was playing, his best friend (ironically, a Dallas cop!) lived directly below me in my apartment complex, and Nate was always over. Always friendly to me - always wanting to talk to me...probably because everytime he saw me I had a basketball in my hand...dude loved hoops.
However, there was this lineman for the Cowboys back in the late '80s-early '90s - Crawford Kerr - who was one of the most arrogant jerks I've ever met in my life. I won't go into details, but let's just say that - according to some girls I knew at the time - he expected every woman he met to "provide a service" for him just because of who he was.
