Marlins outfielder Luis Gonzalez, the former Diamondbacks star, visited practice on Wednesday along with pitcher Kevin Gregg.
The Marlins are in Washington to play the Nationals.
Gonzalez is an ardent Cardinals fan and suite holder for Cardinals home games. He said he's had a lot of requests from people wanting to attend the Dallas game on Oct. 12, he said. Gonzalez has a rule, however: No Cowboys fans allowed in the suite on that day.

Defending the crown is harder than chasing it
I would love to sell my tickets to a Card's fan. My problem is, in Albq. it is hard to find anything other than Denver/Dallas fans. So when a game like this comes around, where demand for tickets has the prices at least double the face value in most cases, it is hard to get anybody other than a Dallas fan to cough up that kind of money. I think alot of old school Cardinals fans still remember being able to get tickets for dirt cheap at SDS and find it hard to pay the current going rates.
but the current stubhub prices for the Cowboys game for seats similiar to mine are utterly out of control.
I agree the prices are out of control. I went to the last game...but I'm not going to spend over 300 dollars on this one. for the last cowboys game here my father in law's business partner was going to give me his tix....but when he found out the going price he bailed on me. I don't blame him. I can't believe the tix prices in today's nfl. most other things seem to be declining in our economy, but NFL tix sales are doing ok.
