Leonard Davis, Ray Thompson and Wakefield Out
of practice today. Davis was given rest on his sore ankle and Thompson was sick.
Both should play Sunday. Wakefield, who has suffered two concussions in two weeks, will be evaluated on game day.
Foster, Gilmore, and Kasper will not play.

Any idea when--or if-- Kasper will return? I'd read the following in this morning's issue of the Republic: "Kasper has two fractured transverse processes, the small, bony projections on the sides of the vertebrae. They function as the attachments for muscles and ligaments."
This sounds relatively serious, and I've heard that Kasper was in a lot of pain. Has there been any talk, of which you're aware, of putting him on IR, or giving him an injury settlement?

Is the cast supposed to be off this weekend? I really think it is impairing his play a lot. That's the longest 7-10 day rehab I've ever seen. |

Yes...the cast will be off this week. No more giant q-tip as Coach Mac calls it. Now he can hold like every other offensive lineman. |
