Leonard Davis

He has very much impressed me so far this preseason. When the running game has had success it has been to the left side.

I don't know if it's "contract year-itis" or Loney has motivated him where others have failed. Regardless, I like what I see and I hope he keeps it up.

Nor I so far. olly, If he would just pummel and keep on pummellinguntiul hears a whistle! He's there, so close, it's getting the others to gel around him. We're still shifting, going into the last pre seasom game and is't what's been killing us since DG has had the reigns. It's going to work this year. Big will get big and the line will be better from unexpected sources.

What was interesting was hearing Ditka's perception of our OL on the first half. He repeatedly said "that was holding but they didn't see it." That's typically a reaction from someone who sees the other team getting some holes and some running room and assuming they HAVE to be holding. You don't usually hear that against us because who complains of holding when the RB is hit in the backfield every other play?

Davis had one blatant hold in the game but otherwise he seemed pretty dominant.
